The Marshall House (circa 1851) was built as Savannah's first hotel. The hotel still has its original staircases, original wood floors, fireplaces, brick walls, and doors to each guest room. Artifacts found during its $12 million renovation are on display on its second and third floors.

The Marshall House is perfectly located downtown on Broughton Street, right in the heart of the city's historic district. Walk four blocks in one direction, and you're standing on River Street. Walk a few minutes in another, and you're in City Market. Savannah's famous squares, historic homes and sultry night clubs are all steps away.



Guest Rooms/Suites and Amenities

At the Marshall House guests can select from 65 guest rooms and 3 deluxe suites. All rooms and suites blend modern features with 19th century character. A few ameniteis that stand out are the original windows, pinewood floors and claw foot tubs which are in some of the rooms. Some of the more popular rooms are the Veranda Rooms. The hotel has six of these rooms on the second floor and one suite which each of which opens up to a wrought iron veranda complete with rocking chairs and ceiling fans.

Directions

From I-95
 Drive South to exit 99A. (This is Highway 16 East)
Follow I-16 into Savannah.
I-16 will dead end and merge into Montgomery Street.
Follow Montgomery Street to the third light.
This is Broughton Street.
Turn right onto Broughton.
Follow Broughton Street for 5 blocks.
The Marshall House will be on your right
