The Gastonian, located on historic Gaston Street, is one of Savannah’s most charming inns. The inn is comprised of two neighboring mansions, built in the 1860's. Each building is constructed of local handmade bricks. The brick is then covered with a layer of white stucco with a Regency-Italianate style. Throughout The Gastonian you will find English furnishings.


Guest Rooms and Amenities

The Gastonian blends nineteenth century ambiance with modern comfort and services. Each of the spacious guest rooms feature either a king, a queen, or two full beds. The bedding consists of exquisite Charisma “Baltimore lace,” 360 thread count linens. While each room at The Gastonian is unique, there are some standard amenities to all of the rooms such as, a private bath, working fireplace, individually controlled heating and cooling systems, telephones, high speed internet access, and cable television. Some rooms feature luxurious whirlpool Jacuzzi baths, while others feature either charming claw-footed tubs or walk-in showers. The view out the windows will look upon a beautifully restored formal garden (one of only seventeen remaining in historic Savannah) and a secluded walled garden.
